Discussion: How do you deal with a sick child?

Being in the middle of raising 5 children I wonder if I haven't gotten a little immune to my children's illnesses. I am wondering how often most people take their children to the doctor's office or give them medication. Please weigh in by sending a comment and letting me know what you think.
