Have You Tried

Have you tried the Knifty Knitter by Provo Craft yet? I got me a set and I absolutely love them! I have made scarves and mittens, ponchos, hats, belts, Christmas stockings and even blankets! If you haven't had a chance yet, give it a try with different mediums. I have used leather lacing to make a belt and that worked very, very well. Fabric strips are a little hard to work with unless you get them thin enough, but they make a really pretty finished project. I have even used ribbon, which made a really pretty hat for a newborn baby girl. Even my little 8 year old loves to use them, they are so easy to use!
