There are lots of fun activities throughout the Wasatch Front this Week. Here is a quick overview of activities, events and firework shows in Weber, Davis and Saltlake Counties.

Davis County

Layton
Tuesday, July 24th 4pm - 7pm: Taste of The Town in Layton Commons Park, 465 N. Wasatch Drive, which offers food sampling from 24 of the city's best resturants offering their signature dishes followed by a free concert by Riders in the Sky at 8pm an the Kenley Amphitheater. Tickets can be purchased for Taste of the Town at Layton Hills Mall for $6


Weber County

Ogden
July 19th - 21st, 23rd and 24th
: pre-rodeo at 6:30pm and Ogden Pioneer Days Rodeo, at 7:30pm with skydivers & mutton busting every night. Ogden Pioneer Stadium, 668 17th St.
July 21st 9 am, Miss Rodeo Utah Speeches at Eccles Conference,
July 22nd, 9 am, Slack, free, Ogden Pioneer Stadium.
July 23rd, 10:30 am, Miss Rodeo Utah reception and fashion show, $35, David Eccles Conference Center
6:30 pm, Miss Rodeo Utah freestyle,
7:30 pm, rodeo, Ogden Pioneer Stadium.
July 24th 9 am, Ogden Pioneer Days Parade, begining on 31st Street and heading north on Washington Boulevard ending on 20th Street;
12pm, Open House at Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, DUP Museum at 2148 Grant Ave.
11 am - 4 pm, Ft. Buena Ventura, pioneer skills and craft fair, the cost is $2 per person or $10 per family.

Salt Lake City
July 18th-24th, 7 pm nightly, Days of '47 Rodeo at the Energy Solutions Arena, Exceptions: begins at noon on Saturday and 6 p.m. on Sunday and 4 p.m. on Tuesday Tickets available through ticketmaster.com, 325-7328.

This Is the Place Heritage Park
July 23rd 9 am to 9 pm
and July 24th, 9 am to 5 pm; Residents of Heritage Village celebrate with a two-day festival. Live music, lots to do and see, a pioneer parade (kids can march in it, too) and fun for everyone, 2601 E. Sunnyside Ave. 582-1847.

West Valley City
July 23rd - 28th, Samoan Heritage Festival of Utah (Flag Day Celebration) with Polynesian music, entertainment, cultural and art exhibitions and activities, rugby, volleyball, basketball and cricket at Centennial Park, West Valley City, 3100 S. 5600 West, 604-2153.
