The last one! The baby, the little one, my precious and beautiful small angel is no longer small - at all! Two weeks ago, he was still a bit shorter than me but last night...last night.
We were standing face to face, laughing about something and I realized it, that not only was I not looking just slightly down but not even eye to eye! He's taller by the width of a finger.
It caught him by surprise too, he was pretty excited to join all his brothers in dwarfing Mom. We had to run over to our measuring place on the wall and see it in writing. This is truly the end of an era for me. There are others coming because this baby is my LAST baby. Everything he does will be the last time one of my babies does it.
That sounds like it could be sad but I'm actually quite excited about it. It's just so COOL!!
