Have you ever had a Swiss army knife? Are they really made in Switzerland? Most of them are not. Here's a pop quiz: Which country comes to mind when you hear of fine chocolate and watches? How about army knives?
Switzerland, of course. They're all the pride of Switzerland. In fact, the symbol of the Swiss Army Knife could almost be considered the tiny country's trademark. However, due to production costs and high demand these knives are starting to carry the label "made in china", just like a growing number of every day gadgets you will find around your home.
However, they can still carry the pride of manufacturing some of the worlds finest watches, including Hamilton watches, which were originally manufactured in the Untied States and carry deep American roots but have since become entirely Swiss made.
