Taking Great Photographs

When you are taking pictures of an event, try to take your emotions out of it and you will get a much better story. I know when I am taking pictures of an event in which my child has just won, I am usually focusing the camera solely on her and nothing else. This is great for one or two pictures but to really capture the moment remember the scenery, the other winners, the people watching. Take pictures to tell the whole story and you will be much happier in the end.
